82 days & counting

82 days!!? i would hyperventilate if i could muster the energy... i`ve talked to people at work - i remember their names - their voices - i even remember some of the things we do there... but 82 days?

baby boy is 9 months old today. i`ve been thinking about my experience of being on mat leave. i`ve been so lucky (economic downturn or not) to spend time with bb daddy practically every day - but it feels a little like i have missed something - some rite of passage... it feels vaguely like when i talk to others of their university years & they include parties, hanging in the sub with classmates etc. - i had a boyfriend (off campus) & spent my time with him (i have different stories & experiences). i hear about mommies meeting in the park, or stroller boot camp, or mommy commiseration lunches - these have passed me by (and i would not change a thing).

baby boy is 9 months old today. he is developing so quickly - loves to eat (he ate clover & buttercups & maybe part of a pine cone today), he is getting so big (as my massage therapist will attest), and he is crazy mobile (it seems as if the day`s activity may actually be turning into full nights of sleep)!

sweet baby boy.

Personally, I think you are VERY lucky to have missed stroller bootcamp. Sounds like some kind of Yaletown Mommy hell ...

Happy 9-Month-Day Baby Boy! Oodles of love and hugs from this side of the Atlantic. Clover, buttercup and pine cone sounds like the most delicious salad, BTW.

One must get very creative when the nearest grocery store is miles away (although I have had a few complaints about the pine cones). x
